Lori Gray Muligano
Lori is a wonderful pianist and creative artist who has always loved music. Growing up in
a home where her mother played piano professionally, Lori started taking piano lessons at the age of four and has been
playing piano professionally for over 25 years. Although Lori is a classically-trained pianist and musician,
she has always enjoyed playing her own style. As a child and young adult, she spent many hours playing her own songs
in her own style on the piano after her "required" practicing was over. Her fluid, contemporary piano technique and smooth jazz voice indeed
lend themselves naturally to many different occasions. Lori is available for hire as a professional pianist
and/or singer for any occasion; wedding ceremonies, funerals, Christmas parties, corporate parties, mixers or
other social engagements. As an added benefit, Lori travels with her own keyboard and PA equipment. Lori's
resume is available upon request.

Lori has also played and sang in and/or directed many different bands and
musical groups over the past 25 years that have covered the range from contemporary Christian rock bands
to cover bands playing rock/blues to original bands. From 2003-2007, Lori co-directed the successful 8-piece
family-friendly rock band, Sapphire Song, that played all throughout the Chicagoland and Rockford areas.
Lori regularly collaborates with other musicians and collegues on various
musical projects and can be found performing somewhere nearly every week.

Along with her band and collaborative involvements, Lori performs as
a solo act at a variety of establishments in the Chicagoland area. She has been invited up on stage at the
House of Blues in Chicago during their Sunday gospel brunch & Lori enjoyed a few moments in the spotlight.

Lori also appears as a duo act with her husband, George,
guitarist. The two have played for several events at Stage Left, (next to the Woodstock Opera House on the square in
historic Woodstock, Illinois), performed house concerts and were featured performers at the Midwest Fiber and Folk Festival
in Crystal Lake, IL.
Currently working on her own solo CD, which includes her original music as
well as some favorite jazz and pop standards, Lori is enjoying the recording aspect of being a professional musician.
As a songwriter, she especially likes writing beautiful, reflective, instrumental piano pieces and is really enjoying recording
these originals. Lori was one of three featured songwriter's in SOTA's Songwriter Showcase held at Stage Left
in Woodstock, IL. Check it out at New songs from upcoming CD "Running".
Lori's
passion has always been to help and inspire people through music. She does
this as a teacher, a music therapist, a composer and as a performer!
