Being the wedding ceremony pianist/keyboardist at St Paul's United Church of Christ in Crystal
Lake, Illinois, for years now, Lori performs many wedding ceremonies every year. As in the past, Lori will work
closely with you and any soloists that you have in mind for your wedding ceremony.
Lori is also invited to play and/or sing at weddings (outside of St Paul's UCC) in the Chicagoland
area, including outdoor weddings. Whether playing an acoustic piano or keyboards (that have nice pipe organ sounds when
called for) or playing and singing, Lori's relaxed nature and years of experience allows her to help keep your
wedding ceremony on track and flowing smoothly.
Not a typical church service musician, Lori has years of performance experience in bands, small groups and
solo work so she is able to be flexible before or even during the wedding ceremony to adapt to whatever happens.
Lori has a Wedding Sampler CD available upon request to listen
to that can help you determine which songs are most suitable or preferred for specific portions of your wedding ceremony.
And if you're feeling too overwhelmed to select songs or you find yourself with too many wedding details still
to handle, Lori can help guide you through typical selections played during any part of the wedding ceremony while still tailoring
a ceremony just for you.
Lori
also knows a whole network of musicians so if you would like to add a string ensemble or a solo violinist to your ceremony,
she has musical connections and has brought in other professional musicians when requested. Just let her know and
she can make those suggestions.
Also, Lori is not limited to the songs that she
currently knows or the songs on her Wedding Sampler CD. If you have a special musical selection that you would
like her to play and/or sing during your ceremony, she is open to that request.
